These terms and conditions apply to the rental of boats from [Your Company Name]. Please read them carefully before booking a boat. By booking a boat, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

  1. No speedboat license is required for the rental of a fiberglass boat with a 30hp motor or a rigid inflatable boat (RIB type with air tubes) with a 15hp motor. To rent a more powerful speedboat, you will be asked to demonstrate your speedboat license and an official document of identification.
  2. According to relevant Greek legislation, a speedboat operator's license issued in a foreign country and held by a Greek or a foreigner is accepted if it has been issued or officially recognized by a governmental authority of the country of origin. In this case, you must produce a certified/official translation of the license and a certificate from an overarching state authority or embassy/consular authority certifying the issuing authority's competence.
  3. For boats requiring a license, operator license review with official translation and certification is mandatory before delivery. Otherwise, the reservation will be cancelled. The operator must be over 21 years old, and official ID may be requested.
  4. Rental fees are paid in full before boat delivery. If booked for multiple days, the total balance is due on the first day.
  5. Early returns are non-refundable. The service provider may re-rent the boat for the remaining period.
  6. A 50 euro delay charge applies for up to 30 minutes after the agreed return time. Leaving the boat elsewhere incurs transportation and lost income charges.
  7. Boats are delivered with full fuel tanks, not included in the price. Refuel at the end or pay the petrol company directly, if they're onsite.
  8. For multi-day bookings, use the boat from 9am to 8pm and return it before sunset to pick it up again the next day.
  9. If the booked boat becomes unavailable (e.g., damage, theft), a similar boat at the same or lower price will be provided. If replacement is impossible, an alternative date or refund will be offered.
  10. As required by law, boats are equipped with life-saving and emergency equipment, leaflets on safe cruising, and a nautical map of the area.

Reservation and Payment Method

Booking a boat requires at least a 50% deposit, excluding fuel costs.

  1. Online booking through our website is available with Alpha e-Commerce or PayPal. It requires 100% of the rental fee via credit/debit/prepaid cards or PayPal.
  2. For e-Commerce payments, you'll be transferred to Alpha Bank's secure environment for transaction completion. All card payments are processed through Alpha Bank's electronic platform with TLS 1.2 encryption.
  3. Online booking confirmation is received via email. If service provision isn't possible (e.g., weather, simultaneous onsite booking), online cancellation with reason and alternative date suggestion will follow within 24 hours. If shifting isn't possible (e.g., client departure), the amount will be refunded.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation policies vary depending on the time before the rental date.

  1. Full refund for cancellations made more than 50 days before the rental date.
  2. 50% refund for cancellations made between 50 and 25 days before the rental date.
  3. Deposit non-refundable for bookings confirmed less than 25 days before the rental date. The cruising area is determined by weather conditions on the rental date.
  4. For reservations confirmed 3 days or less before the rental, if weather deteriorates unexpectedly, an alternative itinerary or date/time is offered. If shifting isn't possible (e.g., client departure), the amount will be refunded.
  5. If you don't show up within 1 hour of the agreed pickup time, the service provider has the right to rent the boat to another client. No reservation shift or advance amount refund will be provided.
